Tuesday, October 4, 2011 iOS 5 will be Available for Free Download from Oct. 12

On the Apple's iPhone event in California, iOS VP Scott Forstall discussed some of the new features of iOS 5 and also announced that this newest version of mobile OS will be available for free download from October 12.
Most of the iOS features were revealed by company in WWDC earlier this year.
There are lots of good features in this newest version of mobile OS including deep Twitter integration and a revamped notification system. It also has better surfing with  tabbed browsing for the iPad, sync between multiple iOs devices, a revamped camera app and a Newsstand application for reading magazines and newspapers.
